Mounting Methods:

• L-shaped Brackets: Suitable for side or top mounting of cylinders, featuring a compact structure. An example is the dedicated "MGG Series" bracket from SMC, which is compatible with thin cylinders such as the MGPM series.
• U-shaped Brackets: Used for fixing both ends of a cylinder, capable of withstanding a certain level of lateral force. They are suitable for long-stroke cylinders (e.g., cylinders with a stroke > 200mm).
• Flange Brackets: Connected via the flange on the cylinder end cover, offering high stability. They are often used in heavy-load scenarios (e.g., cylinders with a bore diameter > 63mm).
• Angle Seat Brackets: Suitable for vertically mounted cylinders, allowing adjustment of the mounting angle (0°-90°) and compatible with lifting-type movements.

 

Anchor bolts and nuts are used for rigidly fixing cylinders to the ground or large racks. They are usually paired with anti-slip washers (such as spring washers and flat washers) to prevent loosening caused by vibration. The materials are mostly stainless steel (for rust prevention) or high-strength carbon steel (for load-bearing).

 

Dedicated mounting plates are brand-customized accessories (e.g., the "MGPM Series Mounting Plate" from SMC). They perfectly match the dimensions of the cylinder end plate, eliminating the need for additional drilling. Direct fixation via bolts improves installation efficiency, making them suitable for the assembly of batch automated equipment.
